Other people besides me had been chiming in on the Post-Crescent’s community forum, and a couple of the Xian apologists started repeating the lie that Adolf Hitler was an atheist. Another atheist (not me) posted the facts of the matter, complete with several quotations from Hitler himself that (a) denigrated atheists and (b) proudly proclaimed that he was acting as a Catholic on behalf of the faithful.

This sent the liars into a frenzy, during which time they tried desperately to change the subject. I came in for some of the frothing here, because I’d pointed out that Hitler, like Jesus, had died for his beliefs.

So I revisited that issue, with the intent of pointing out that the thing we should really be looking at is( Hitler’s Motivation. )
