Of course, I wasn’t the only person using the on-line forum to respond to the original column. One other person, also an AAW member, had gotten in a few whacks ahead of me. But I had a somewhat different take on one subject than he did, so I went off on a little side excursion to get that out of the way before settling in to the main course.

In doing so, I identified myself as ( an imprudent atheist. )
