In addition to sending my letter to the editor directly to the Post-Crescent, I posted a copy of it on line to the Atheists and Agnostics of Wisconsin listserv, where I’d first been tipped off to the existence of the original essay. Imagine my delight when, a day or 2 later, one of the other AAW members let me know that I could go to the paper’s website and find an ongoing discussion of that column.
